My holy Creator, hold Your creature in Your mighty hands as life’s journey takes unexpected turns. Do not let disappointments turn into injuries that cause internal bleeding of the soul. Do not let thwarted plans turn into bitter roots that choke the life out of the harvest of faith You are sowing within me. When my being is bereft of peace, draw me to Yourself in majestic power so that I can be replenished in Your love. When turmoil creates a storm of anxiety within me, wrap me up in Your Holy Word like a lullaby to my soul, soothing the chaos in such a way that when I waken, my eyes are set only upon You. Empower me to walk upon the wind. Equip me to conquer the waves. Hush my protesting heart with trust birthed from faith in Your perfect plan. May I rest in the assurance that You see me, You know me, and I am Yours. Under the holy Word of John 14:25-27 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I humbly pray.

 “I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at My request, will make everything plain to you.
