Lord Jesus, let me be clothed in Your righteousness instead of scarcely covered by my rags of vanity. When my soul writhes in hunger, let me feast on the Word of truth. When my heart thirsts, let me drink in Your promises. Truly, You are my covering, Lord God. My soul cries out with praises because You are good. Captivate me with Your Kingdom causes. Delight me in the service that brings glory to Your Name. Your blessed Word is the canopy that shields me from the scorching blaze of deception. With joy unspeakable, I listen for the lyrics of the song that belongs to You alone. Great is my delight in You. Magnificent is the joy that wraps my sorrowful heart with eternal promise. Your robe of righteousness is the only thing thick enough to conceal my iniquity. Your tenderness flowing from the cross is the only source of salvation. I thank You for looking out for me, Lord Jesus. You are the One who loves forevermore to see the fruit of Your great work applied to every one of Your redeemed ones. Help me to see as You see and to love as You love. You are my whole and solitary perfection for righteousness. Let me live a life of grace that I may anticipate the glory of life with You hereafter. Under the beauty of the Word in Psalm 134:3 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.
