Praise the Lord for His holiness. My past, present, and future are in Your hands, Lord God. Set my times apart to be useful for Kingdom service. Your sovereignty is the source of my security in these tumultuous days. Let me seek You early when trouble first hints at storm clouds on the horizon. The earth is Yours and all that is in it. I come to You before and not after. Though I appreciate the counsel of friends, Yours is the one that I seek. And even when it is the late hour of my tribulation, let me still earnestly come to You, my Savior. Though I often let illusions determine my actions, remind me to let Your Spirit remove the veil so that my sight is unhindered by emotion and clarified by Your truth. You are the everlasting God and King of kings. Clothed with honor and majesty, I bow to You in Your holiness. Only Your heart can fully illuminate my own. Only Your love can absolutely activate my own. Let me be genuine in my affection toward You and only You because there is no variable in the essence of Your divinity. I delight in Your unchanging nature that invites me to live a life of holiness. Under the majestic power of the Word in Hebrews 13:7-8 and the authority of Christ, I set my prayer on the altar of God.

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
