The depth of the riches of Your inheritance are beautiful to contemplate, Lord Jesus. Your wisdom is beyond comprehension and yet Your Spirit gladly imparts portions to those called by Your Name. Your judgments are righteous and good. Never let me supersede Your counsel with ideas of my own. Your way is higher and better than mine, Lord God. It was You who first shined the light upon the darkness lurking in my heart. You retrieved what was lost and pulled my battered soul out of the pit. The influx of Your Spirit made my heart beat again. What once was a rhythm of chaos became a steady beat of perfect peace. Continue to influence me in the sweetness of Your presence each morning. Lull me to rest with ruminations of Your truthful promises when sleep vies for my attention. After my time of blindness, grant me the clarity that only comes with faith. Let wisdom replace ignorance. Let foolishness abate and adoration take its place. You are worthy of worship. Your mighty arms carry me through the barren landscape of this world. Continually make me like You so that I am fully awake and ready for the fullness of the Kingdom of light. Under the blessed Word of Ephesians 5:8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
