Fill my heart with more of You, Lord God. Warm up the cold, cavernous recesses of my soul. Your touch of effectual grace has made my life fuller and granted peace to my mind. Your patience is well tried when it comes to dealing with me, Lord. I know that full well. Forgive my constant wandering away from the protective boundaries of Your Holy Word. My heart blushes and remains confounded by the mercy displayed upon the cross. There is no boundary to Your kindness, Lord. For that I am eternally grateful. Nothing but Your power could have saved my wretched soul. Your hand with its eternal reach pulled me from the pit and took me to the heights so that I could clearly see the celestial horizon of Your Kingdom through the eyes of faith. Blessed be Your Name as the canopy of Your gracious promises covers me from the cross. Do not let my affections wander away from You, Lord. Keep me from setting up rivals in my heart that compete for the abiding attention only You deserve. Purge my heart of infidelity and discontent. I want to be entirely Yours now and forever. Under the Word of truth in Romans 2:6-8 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
