Only You can attend effectively to my needs, Lord God. Behold the deepest woes of my soul so You can heal the hurt. Though iniquity is part of my internal soul-wiring, You can rewrite me with righteous connections to You. With much gratitude, I am grateful that destruction passed over me because of the blood You spilled on the cross. I delight to pour out my heart to You in prayer. I gladly bring the mirror of Your Word up against my soul. Incline Your ear to my heart’s whispers as I long for reconciliation and resolution. You are the only way, Jesus. Mark my oath. Secure my steps. Hold me tenderly. Your interests are not temporal but eternal. Therefore, I bring my spiritual concerns to You. Only Your heart can hear my soul’s sighs. Thank You for taking account and turning Your thoughts on my calamity. Inspire me with deeper devotion and affection. Hem me in as I walk the narrow way, Jesus. Only You can keep me from stumbling. Under the canopy of protection in Psalm 33:13-15 and the authority of Christ, I bow in humble prayer.
