Lord God Almighty, banish the fatigue of my soul by captivating me with Your presence. Only Your Holy Spirit can animate my heart with awestruck wonder. My hope in You is the anchor for my soul in times of distress and sorrow. Put thoughts of heaven into my mind perpetually so that the actions I take have eternal impact. Even as I toil in this wearisome world, my work does not have to be in vain because You use it all for good. Lord, replenish my heart when it has grown weary and stretched by the cares of this world. You have promised a rest I look forward to when I find myself on a field of battle. Temptation has a way of sneaking past my defenses. Strengthen my faith, Lord. When my soul is molested by fears, shield my attitude from impact. Your nearness allows me to have a pleasant disposition when daily foes assault me. Set my sight on eternal horizons when Kingdom perspective is skewed by trial and adversity. The celestial fields of joy stretch like a sunrise in my soul when my eyes are open by faith. Jesus, You are the tether of hope I cling to. Sanctify Your servant. Under the blessed canopy of the Word in Colossians 1:10-12 and the authority of Christ, my Savior and King, I come to the altar in a posture of prayer.

 Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
