Lord God Almighty, I give You my days and worship You with my nights. Prepare my soul with light despite the shadows of living in a fallen world. Expand the borders of my daily perspective to include eternal horizons. You have ordained both summer and winter seasons of the soul. Only You can uphold me by the Word of Your power. Great are the riches of Your inheritance. Mighty is the work of Your hands. Your Spirit satisfies the heart, mind, body, and soul. Continue this day to instruct me in the ways of godliness. Lead me on the path of life though I walk through the valley of death’s shadow. By Your will, all things were created. By Your mercy, I live. Let me praise You and be ever mindful of Your glory. Speak Lord and Your servant will listen. Enable my rebellious heart toward obedience without requiring understanding first. You are trustworthy and good. The work of Your hands is astonishingly timely. In all things, let me act in accordance with who I am in you. Under the blessed guidance of the Word in Psalm 23:4 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
