I trust in You alone, Lord God. Your provision is the source of my trust. Your Word is the single-most instructive tool You have given me. Keep me mindful of never taking for granted that which You have blessed me with. Guide me with wisdom that marks out heaven’s best path for today and tomorrow. Correct any steps I take that might lead me astray. Only You can adorn me with perfect righteousness. My heart is filled with gratitude for Your intercession and grace. Where would I be without my Savior to plead my cause? Cover my worries with reminders that I rest safely in Your sovereignty. You are God and You are good. My hope rests in who You are and all You have done. Only You can continue the chiseling work that forms me into Your likeness. Curb my temper, subdue my will, enlighten my understanding. Keep my passions holy. Dwell in me as my life. Reign in me as my King. Sanctify me through the Spirit. Lead me to holiness in mind, body, and soul. Your love never wanes. Your glory never fades. Your kindness knows no boundaries. Your perfect goodness will never be diminished. How grateful are the ones who belong to You. Under the magnificent plea of 1 Kings 8:37-39 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence or blight or mildew or locust or caterpillar, if their enemy besieges them in the land at their gates, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is, whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all Your people Israel, each knowing the affliction of his own heart and stretching out his hands toward this house, then hear in heaven Your dwelling place and forgive and act and render to each whose heart You know, according to all his ways (for You, You only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind).
