Spirit of the Living God, You are the strength of my faith, the author of the story being written in my heart. Saturate my soul with truth that is grounded in love. Give me a believing heart that holds fast to Your promises. What a blessed combination of grace and mercy is Your presence in this life. Priceless and treasured is the gift of salvation. Exert Your mighty power over me, Lord God. Though I bring You infirmities in prayer, I know You are the healer. The path set before me is dangerous to walk but safe to finish because You are with me. Let me not labor in vain but for the glory of Your Name. Without You, I can accomplish nothing worthy. It is Your presence and guidance that confers upon me a purpose beyond simple excitement. Whatever deficiency You detect in me Lord, fill it with Your Spirit. Only when I am Yours can I be free to be myself. Under the truth of Your Word in Ephesians 5:6-10 and the authority of Christ, I come to You in prayer.

 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.
