Thank You, Lord God Almighty, for holding my feeble arms as I walk the bumpy path of life with Your steady steps of faith showing me the way. In seasons when the road is slick with emotion, keep me tethered to the promises in Your Word. If the path gets ugly and treacherous, grip me firmly with truth that restrains me from turning around. Sometimes I feel as if I cannot support my tottering weight of bad choices. Let my soul take heart so that Your grace lifts me up even when I fall. Wounded by pebbles of accusation from the enemy, only You can heal me with mercy and compassion straight from Your Spirit to mine. Let me bless Your patient power for the watchfulness that is daily on my side. When I am reflective, let me ruminate through a lens of holiness that offers godly perspective. No matter how dark the path becomes, there is light available in Your Word. Preserve me from unseen foes waiting in ambush on this path, Lord. Keep my steps steady and the horizon of eternity always my focal point. Under the wise counsel of Your Word in Psalm 1:1-2 and the authority of Christ, I come to You in prayer.
