Your bountiful blessings are evidence of the magnitude of Your graciousness, Lord. Through the enabling power of Your Holy Spirit, I can keep Your Word close to my heart. Peel my eyes open so that I can see the treasure of Your truth tucked into the wisdom presented in Your Word. As I travel the path of life, Your guidance is crucial lest I wander off the way unwittingly. Let Your holiness not be hidden from me, Lord. Show me the way to live. Consume every desire in me that is contrary to Your purpose. Let my motivations align with Kingdom goals, Lord God. Your rules are beneficial even if they feel confining. Hem me in with rebukes if necessary. Let me not wander away from the protective fold. Even when I have been scorned by contempt for keeping Your testimony, I have the peace that You gave Your followers. A peace not of this world. Inspire me to meditate wholeheartedly and worship with a devoted heart. My delight is dependent on You, my Savior and King. Under the blessed assurance of Your Word set down in Psalm 123:3 and the authority of Christ, I come to the altar in prayer.
