Many a plot comes against me, Lord. No matter how formidable the foes, You always prevail. As I lean into Your statutes, I am both challenged and inspired. Help me become better. Counsel me with Your eye to the future even when I sometimes get hung up on the past. The dust of mistakes clings to my soul. There is life in Your Word. There is hope in Your wisdom. Show me the way, Lord. Reveal to me the path that will keep me close to Your side. I know that You answer those who call You with sincere intentions. There is so much to learn. Tutor me on the ways of the Spirit. Under Your wings, I find both comfort and understanding. Beneath the canopy of Your precepts, there is divine knowledge that makes living far more purposeful. Even when my soul melts in sorrow, You strengthen me with Your presence. Graciously, You invite me to the sacred space of prayer. I delight to meet You here each day. I choose You over me. I trust Your thoughts and not my own. Set my heart up in a posture of holiness that honors You. Set Your heart before me Lord, as You did on the cross. Enable me to cling to it with the entirety of my soul. Under the blessing of Your Word in Psalm 36:7 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
