Lord, how great is Your Holy Name. Let me run to it and find refuge from the consistency of life’s storms. Your covenantal love is a canopy that stretches wide over those called by Your Name. There is safety in the steadfastness of Your faithfulness. Enable me, by Your Spirit, to keep Your commandments. Tune my ears to be more attentive to Your truth. Open my eyes to see the wisdom in Your ways. I place each moment of my day in Your hands. I seek Your blessed counsel at night. Accept my daily confessions, Lord. There is no single day when I walk as steady in faith as I would like. Turn me from the corruption of this world and of my own desires. Let me stand firm on Your statutes and rest in Your commandments. I trust in Your promises as I trust in no other. Tame the wildness of my heart that beckons me toward unfaithfulness. You are faithful and good, Lord Jesus. When I angle away from You, turn me back around toward Your face. Redeem me by the power of Your Name and pull me into Your Kingdom plan by the light of Your guiding truth. Under the sovereignty of the Word in Psalm 119:105 and the authority of Christ, I come to the altar in prayer.
