By the power of Your Spirit, keep me mindful of my loyalty to You. The distractions of life problems can tempt me to let go of the tether You have extended to me by way of grace. Trouble has a way of distorting truth. Let me not be accursed by common afflictions. Keep me grounded in awareness of Your presence. Forgive me for my tendency to seek approval from man when the only validation I need comes from You. I am Your servant. Though I am forgetful, help me remember all You have taught me. Plant the seeds of Your commandments in the soil of my heart. You lengthen my days and stretch out my years according to Your will. Envelope me in peace that passes understanding. Your steadfast love surrounds me and lifts me up when I fall. The tablet of my heart is Yours to write on. With You, there is favor and fruitfulness. Let my trust in Your sovereignty be boundless. I will acknowledge You as I navigate the path of life. Refresh my bones with mercy. I am Yours and You are mine. Under the manifold blessing of Your Word in Galatians 1:10 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.

For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.
