Empower me to step boldly in the path of life You have set before me, Lord. I need the daily urging of Your Spirit. To seek Your pleasure is the greatest of my desires. Through the Lord Jesus, You have fully instructed me in the way. Make me ever mindful of how even the simplest acts impact my identity as Your follower. Map out a boundary of holiness and honor in my life. Without Your guidance, I am a hopeless wanderer. Whatever I may disregard in life, let me not disregard my relationship with You. There is no higher teacher than Your Spirit. Impart wisdom and knowledge so that my ways more closely match Yours. Though I am a work in progress, I can rest assured that You will finish that work. I aspire to live quietly outside the loud influence of cultural idioms. In minding my own affairs, may I weave myself into Your divine plan. Under the blessing of Your Word in Philippians 1:6 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
