You are everything, Lord Jesus. Your manifest presence has a grip on my heart so full of love and so righteous with grace that I need not fear You letting go. Even when my abiding in You falters, I can rest assured that You will bring me back. Let me not flee from You when I have transgressed Your ways. There is forgiveness in confession. Your presence is my canopy over the future. Your grace is my refuge from the past. You are my present moment. Take me higher in thought than I normally go. Shadows stretch far and wide, but You bring light to the darkness. Though the enemy hunts me and tracks my every emotion, it is You who offers me peace in the storm. Write the script of my day with kingdom-worthy words and divine tasks. Form the path to the future You want for this life. Only You can influence my impact. Your thoughts are precious to me. Your heart is my resting place. Your will is my compass. Your Word is my solid foundation. Under the blessing of Your Word in Psalm 139:11-12 and the authority of Christ, I pray.

If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me.
    The light around me will be night,”
even the darkness doesn’t hide from You,
    but the night shines as the day.
