Judgment rests in the divine council of Your Spirit, Lord. Let Your influence be the only guide my life seeks to move forward when all else pulls me backward. There is no partiality with You. The boundary between right and wrong can only be drawn by Your finger. The injustices of this world are contrived by the wicked. Lord, Your gracious pardon for the former tendencies of my rebel soul has redirected my oath of allegiance from myself to You. You extend mercy to the afflicted. Your grace covers the destitute. Your mighty hand delivers us from the wickedness that becomes a virus in the soul. Bring me to the light so that I no longer walk in darkness. Shred selfish inclinations. Crumble the deceptive foundations I used to stand on. You are the Most High God. There is none like You. My allegiance is Yours. My adoration belongs to no other. I accept Your judgment for it is true. I crawl beneath the safety of Your blanket of salvation. With You, there is rest in the pardon. With a repentant heart, I continually adore You. Under the blessed canopy of Your Word in Deuteronomy 4:35 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
