Without You, Lord Jesus, my world is polluted with doubt and worry. Your presence leaves a sparkle of joy in my heart. Let me exude the residue of spending time with You. Truly, my soul is enriched by spending time in prayer. Let me not live at a distance from my Savior’s influence. Meet me in the private rendezvous of prayer as I come to You on feeble knees in search of Your heart. Though there are parts of our walk that are secret, they leave footprints in the world that are divine reminders of Your promises. Influence others through me, Lord, as my heart becomes more intertwined with Yours. I long to know You to greater depths. The holy calm of leaning into You brings solace to the chaotic reactions of unpredictable life events. Invite me daily to draw near to You. Hold me close in difficulty. Feed me from Your love when I am famished. With You, I am fully satisfied. Under the canopy of truth in Nehemiah 1:11 and the authority of Christ, I come to the altar in prayer.

 Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of this Your servant and to the prayer of Your servants who delight in revering Your Name.
