With glory infinitely surpassing all I can imagine or think, You have astonished me with the magnificent enormity of grace, Lord God. A full display of Your sovereignty and power take over every detail of my daily life. Bend my heart in the direction of Your pleasure. Sanctify my soul for the holy tasks You have apportioned to me. It is You who opens doors no other can shut. It is You who shuts doors that lead to dangerous places. There is sweet solace in being among the redeemed. In Your presence, there is shelter from the storm. There is refuge from the darkness in the light You bring. Tuck me deeply into the fold of Your Word. Rock my tumultuous soul with the lullaby of salvation echoing from the cross. Strike the embers of faith with flint from Your mercy. You have carried me when I could no longer walk. You have sheltered me when I wandered. Forgive my oblivion, Lord. Truly, You will not let Your loved ones perish. Your love stretches beyond the limited imagination of my mind and captivates the eternal portion of my heart. Blessed be Your Name. Under the canopy of magnificent truth in Isaiah 28:29 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I come to the altar in prayer.

All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
    whose plan is wonderful,
    whose wisdom is magnificent.
