If not for Your grace, Lord God Almighty, I would languish under Your rightful rebuke and deserved discipline. Heal me from my soul’s affliction. Let Your wings of mercy cover me when Your wrath passes overhead. My bones are troubled by the weight I carry. Time often feels like an enemy when pain is my constant companion. Turn my direction, Lord God. It is Your deliverance that I seek. Your steadfast love is glorified through the life You allow me to live. Fate answers to Your sovereignty. Let my destiny be fulfilled in bringing You praise. Weariness assaults me with relentless attacks. But You can chase away the workers of evil. You can rescue me from adversity. In Your shadow, I will find refuge. In Your love, I rest my weary soul. Under the blessing of Your Word in Matthew 11:28-29 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
