Envelop me with spiritual awareness that tingles during the more mundane moments of life. Reveal to me the precious nature of those You created in Your image. Put to death all former passions, Lord, until the only thing that inspires me is bringing glory to Your Name. Truly, You work things for good to those that love You. Out times are in Your hands. Fold my desires into Your purposes, Lord, so that my life has Kingdom impact. Only Your presence cheers and comforts the downtrodden. Let my heart meditate on the truth that each hair is numbered, that You see what I am blind to, and that You guard the apple of Your eye. Day and night, Your watch never fails. Your special love is unique and quieting. There is solace in knowing You will never forsake me. Lord, You are my shield and my great reward. I lean into Your promises. I embrace Your Word. I give You my heart. I listen for Your consolation. Lord, You are the Keeper of my soul. Under the manifold blessing in Your Word set down in Psalm 17:7-8 and the authority of Christ, I bow in prayer.
