God who sees us, be lifted high through the praise of our hearts for Your name is holy and Your presence assuring. Grant me an extra dose of faith to nourish me when life’s journey brings me through a land of confusion and chaos. Let me grip tightly to the staff of peace which You so graciously guide me with when anxiety sneaks up beside me as my traveling companion. With instantaneous power, Lord, I invite You to put asunder the enemy of my soul so that I can walk in faithful confidence the path of obedience set before me, regardless of how treacherous the filter of my heart is making it out to be. I will follow in the footsteps of trust, Jesus, for You know my way. Under the comfort of Psalm 23:1-3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I submit these prayers to You, O God of my heart.

Yahweh is my shepherd:
    I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
    He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
    He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.
