Great God Almighty, Keeper of our souls, take me into the depth of the realm of divine love’s intensity until I emerge with the fervor of a true saint. Let me not be warped by the trap of deception so subtly placed where my feet tread along the path of life. Rather, let me walk with steps devoted to Jesus, trusting in Him at all times with my head held high as I keep my focus steadily fixed upon the goals of Your will, Father. Grant me peace in preparation, joy in deliverance, and love in relationship. May those I am privileged to journey with be greatly blessed in the warmth of the light You radiate through me. Under the word of 1 Thessalonians 5:5-6 and the blessed authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are lifted with a humble heart and praising hands, O God.

 You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness, so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
