God, You are my Savior King, the Almighty Maker of heaven and earth. By the power of Your Name, surround my languishing soul with the purity of divine love. Move Your angel armies into battle formation so that I can feel the victory despite the snare of my doubting heart. I cry out to You, O Lord, to help me overcome the obstacles through the strength and energy You supply. Make real to me the truth that the joy of the Lord is my strength for my heart desires to walk in the victory of the cross of Christ. So I will fight the hate with the purity of love. I will wound the darkness with the power of light. I will inflict the doubts with the steadfastness of truth. I will defeat despair with the promised hope of Christ, in whom my soul finds rest in victory. Under the blessedness of 2 Chronicles 20:15 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are set before You, O Lord.
