Lord God, keeper and source of all that is good, holy, and true, make me stay under the canopy of Your protective will. Invoke Your power in a way that emanates from the deepest recesses of my weary soul. May Your perfect peace mend the terrible brokenness my own chaotic emotions. For I was created to be Your image bearer. I was created for love’s purpose. I call on You, my Savior King, to rescue my wretched heart through the reassuring grace of Your unending love as expressed upon Your cross. I relinquish control of my life, my heart, and my soul by placing all I am into Your protective embrace. I delight to be loved by You. As Your beloved, I will lean on You, enveloped in mercy and graceful tenderness so that You can finish through me the work You have begun. Under the blessedness of Philippians 1:6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are humbly submitted.
