Lord God Almighty, blessed be Your Name in all the universe. Your praises drip from my lips as I lift my soul to You for care and attention. Father, grant me the strength necessary to wait for the unfolding of Your perfect plan in this life story I am living. Be ever present with me in Spirit so that I can move at Your designated pace… especially when I am too eager to press ahead, getting in front of You. I know that my place is behind You, Jesus. I know that in order to follow You, I cannot let my emotions lead me. I seek You for the patience to slow down, to trust, and to settle my soul. May I not incorrectly interpret Your promptings, Lord. I seek You to fill in the gaps where I am weakest. May other faithful ones come alongside me so that I can continue upon the straight and narrow path. Remind me to carve out the time with You that I need in order to have the clarity and wisdom to carry me to the next mile-marker in life. My deepest desire is to become what You intended me to be, Lord. So, I invite You to raise me up, to mold me, to shape me, and to make me Your own. May this journey not be vain but made complete through the glory I bring You in every moment. Under the power of Your Word in Jeremiah 29:11-13 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I lift these prayers to Your heart O God.
