Father God, You are astonishing and delightful. Your presence is breath to my soul. Let Your Spirit awaken my heart to Your nearness. Grant me clarity as You stir up the embers of love that have been buried beneath the ashes of distraction. Lord, give me the strength to let go of what I currently hold onto which prevents me from accepting what You extend with Your hand. Make my soul ready to receive what You have in store for me so that I do not falter in following my own heart’s desires. Bring peace and patience to me in the waiting room. Let my heart not be discouraged but gloriously filled with anticipation of connecting with You in deep prayer and soulful worship. Your goodness is my source of trust. God, You are worthy of all praise. I will wait upon You to show me the way. I will soar with You above the emotional turmoil of life. I will honor You with my lips. I will serve You with my heart. I will let my thoughts be covered by Your truth. Under the promise of Isaiah 40:29-31 and the authority of Christ, these prayers are a fragrant offering to You, King of my heart.

He gives power to the weak.
    He increases the strength of him who has no might.
Even the youths faint and get weary,
    and the young men utterly fall;
