God, my beloved Father and sustainer of life, breathe new life into Your servant as I journey the road in search of new energy, zeal, and encouragement from You. Guide my steps unto the path of devotion led by my heart which is knit together with You. Show me the stepping stones of holiness that will deepen our intimacy. Steady my uphill climb with the grace of Your Spirit in me.  Illuminate the shadowy path with the light of Your truth so that I am protected from bitterness and offense. Guard me with discernment so that I do not fall into the pits dug by the enemy. I look to You in order that my faith might be refreshed. I seek Your power to ignite my hope and fill me with love for the journey. Use me mightily, Lord, to help others recognize the path to Your Kingdom and want to follow Your lead, Jesus. Under the beauty of John 8:12 and Christ’s ultimate authority, I place these prayers with love into Your tender hands, Lord God.
