Lord God, You are gracious and merciful to those You love. Draw me into Your strong embrace so that Your strength becomes my own. Minister to my grieving heart in power and in healing through Your Holy Spirit. When I am forlorn, re-ignite my passion for seeking You in Your Word. Dig out the joy that I tend to bury beneath the unnecessary burdens I place upon myself. Weed out the careless emotions that control my thoughts toward the territory of negativity when You invite me to the land of promise. Rejuvenate my physical body in sleep so that I can serve You at my fullest capacity. Open my heart to receive Your instruction in the night. Open the cells of my body to receive Your healing touch in the hours of slumber. Sweet Savior, restore me in prayer. Replenish me in worship. Remake me in refinement as I walk through the valley of the shadow in search of true light. Enable me to do that which You have blessed me to do in Your mighty Name and with Your endless supply of strength. Under the truth of the Word in Colossians 1:28-29 and the authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are a fragrant offering to my King.
