My merciful God in heaven who has purpose for each life You have created, lead and guide me in this life journey. Take me to a new depth of awareness of You so that I desire holiness and reject the temptations of the world. Create in me a deeper faith that is rooted in love so that I am free from the shackles of obligation. Make my heart teachable in the ways of God and ignorant of selfish desire. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, break any bonds that are spiritually unhealthy for me as You bring my confidence to a new level because I trust in You. Under the faithful promise of Isaiah 40:31 and the trustworthy authority of Christ Jesus, these prayers are placed into Your hands, O God.
