Thank You, Lord that Your eyes are ever upon those You love. For You are fully aware of the trials that befall me and the fires that threaten to consume my faith. Be with Your desperate child for I am in the midst of a firestorm, O God. Grant me deliverance from trials by restoring peace in my soul so that I am refreshed in Your presence and nourished by Your Word of truth. Let me sense the might of Your nearness even when the threats surrounding me appear insurmountable. For all power is Yours, O God. You delight to control the fires of adversity by dousing them with the power of living water. I need not fear getting burned because I know that You are able, my Lord. Deliverance is Yours to bestow upon me when the time is right. Allow me the peace to wait in hope as You protect my soul from any permanent burns. Under the treasure of Your Word in Jeremiah 31:25-26 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I lift these prayers to heaven.
