Father in heaven, who completely and utterly adores His treasured children, move me closer to You as You cover me with the protection of Your majesty. Your wounds are my source of healing. Your stripes are my gift of grace. Bring cleansing to my soul from the dirt inflicted on me by the one who desires my destruction. Remove the bruises of my heart through the nearness of Your presence. For in You there is the softness of mercy which envelopes me in divine love’s embrace. Raise me up to be the warrior of faith You have called me to be even as You protect me in the shadow of Your wings. Your loving kindness is my solace. Lift up my weary heart as only You can, Lord Jesus, and fill my empty soul with Your sanctification. Under Your beautiful mercy in Psalm 81:10 and the authority of Christ Jesus these prayers are lifted toward heaven’s glory.
