Today’s Prayer 10/30

Father, I thank You for hearing the deep cries of my heart in the midst of affliction. Be with me, holy God, as I face this mountain that looms in front of me. Should You choose for this mountain to remain immovable, Lord, make my feet like that of the deer. May the sole of my heart scale the rocky terrain with Your strength and confidence. May the steps of my spirit be light and surefooted because my peace is from You, Jesus. Lead me to the summit, Father God, so that I can gain a heavenly perspective on earthly trouble which will allow me to be free from the bondage inflicted upon my soul. Use my many tears to fill the waterfalls of heaven; for nothing is wasted in Your beautiful Kingdom. Under Your sustaining, nourishing grace I set these prayers beneath the Word of Psalm 18:1-3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, the One my heart looks to now and always.

I love you, Yahweh, my strength.
Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
    my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
    my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised;
    and I am saved from my enemies.
