My Father in heaven, surround me as Your beloved child, with Your heavenly host so that I can embark on new adventures of mission, both close to home and far away- according to Your will. Hold me up in moments of weakness so that I can testify to Your amazing grace which sustains me. Shine Your holy light through every word and every deed as I minister to those around me no matter where I am. Let me proclaim Your great Name with grace, tenderness, and mercy toward others. Let me glorify You with love, acceptance, and guidance for those who are in need. Enlighten the eyes of my heart so that I can recognize the path of Your will when it is right in front of me in the middle of an ordinary day. No matter where I am, this land is foreign to me. My citizenship is from heaven. Therefore, as Your missionary in the fallen world, let me proclaim the Good News of salvation in Christ by the way I live my ordinary life. Under the beautiful truth of Ephesians 1:18 and the protective authority of Christ, I set these prayers at Your feet, O God Almighty whom I adore.
