Holy God of all creation, let Your comforting presence minister to Your beloved child in the days unfolding before me. Hold my heart in Your tender hands as You let me fall into the safety of trusting You. Assure me of Your plan and will for my life, Lord God, in tangible ways, especially when the emotional landscape provides a gloomy tint upon the future. May the glorious light of peace shine through all darkness in the remembrance that You, my loving Savior, author my story in ways that bring me ultimate good and glorify Your Holy Name. Draw near to me this day, O Lord, for I am Yours. Enable me to navigate the landscape of a confusing future by setting my eyes on the glory of eternity which lingers on the horizon, casting light upon my way. Under the holy influence of 1 John 2:6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I set these prayers before the King of my heart.
