Father in heaven, I come to You, frazzled and undone because You calm me and put me back together. I run into Your arms when the storm rages around me because You are my shelter and my refuge. I turn to You when the darkness frightens me because You are my shining light that chases away all fear. Penetrate the depths of my being, Lord, until I am radiating the power of Your resurrected life. Pierce the depravity of my soul that weighs me down so that I can float upon the joy of salvation, drawing others to look up and see Your glory. You have given me so much, Lord. Let me give You all of myself. Reveal to me the areas which I am holding back. Enable me not to resist Your love. Jesus, empty me of myself so that I can be filled in You. Under the Word of Ephesians 3:20-21 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly
than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
