Lord of my soul, I bow before You in humble gratitude for the grief of shame that You bore for me upon the cross. I worship You for the reconciliation power granted to me through Your sacrifice, Jesus. The undeserved majesty of Your grace is a priceless gift that brings sweet release to the imprisonment of my soul. Let me never forget the privilege of coming to You on bent knees with my heart posturing in prayer. I delight to talk with You, Lord God, about my troubles and cares. I desire to seek Your guidance and wisdom in every decision I am appointed to make. Let me not forfeit the peace You offer me, Jesus, by going my own way and living in my own strength. Shield me from the panic of worldly concern because my trust is in You. I lean into You for all that I need. Your grace is truly sufficient. May Your power be perfected in me through weakness. Under the Word of truth in 2 Corinthians 12:9 and the authority of Christ, I delightfully pray.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses,
so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
