I look to You, my Lord and King, for clarity in the darkness. Let my soul cling to Your promises when I am tempted to despair. For You are good. You are near. Your promise is to never leave me, nor forsake me. In weakness, You promise me that Your grace is sufficient. In my weariness, You have promised me rest, Jesus. In the midst of overwhelming battle, You have promised to fight for me if only I am still. When I fail, You have promised to renew my strength. When I stumble, You promise to lift me up. You are with me in the valley. You lead me over mountains. You take me to the deep where I can be replenished in You. My heart and soul rejoice because You are my promise-keeper. Though flesh and blood may fail me, You are the strength of my heart, now and forevermore, Jesus. Under the mighty Word of promise in 2 Corinthians 1:20 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him.
That is why it is through Him that we utter our
Amen to God for His glory.
