Lord of the heavens and the earth, look with favor on Your beloved. Do not delay in rescuing me from the snare of the enemy’s lies. Help me to overcome the trap of temptation set before me. Make haste to deliver me from the shame and confusion. Let me not be devoured by the pervading iniquity of my own soul. Rid me of that which is not glorifying to You, Jesus. Take away all extraneous desires until my own are one with Your sovereign will. Let me please You, my Lord. Take delight in Your servant. Show me the way to go because my soul is lifted up to You and only You. I am poor, but Your presence enriches me, Lord. I am needy, but there is nothing I need besides You. You are my help. You are my great deliverer. Come to my rescue, Lord. Take me out of the enemy’s grasp. Under the Word You have given in Psalm 70:4-5 and the authority of Christ, I delightfully pray.

    rejoice and be glad in you!
May those who love your salvation
    say evermore, “God is great!”
But I am poor and needy;
