My sweet Savior, let me seek You in earnest. Let the depths of my lonely heart cry out for fulfillment in You, Jesus. Drinking deeply of the living water that You offer me, my soul is quenched of the parched thirst that drives me to look for satisfaction. Crucify the fleshly desires within me so that I can fully live in the power of Your Holy Spirit. Though the lands of this world are dry and weary, let me follow You into the deep where I can find the replenishment that I seek. Your power is altogether glorious. Your grace is sufficient. May my insignificant lips praise You in the ordinary of my life. May my wandering feet remain upon the path that You have drawn out for me. I cling to You, Jesus, with all of me. I delight in You with everything that I am. Make me Your vessel and Your offering. Under the Holy Word of Psalm 63:1-3 and the authority of Christ, I place this prayer as an offering at Your feet.
O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You;
my soul thirsts for You;
my flesh faints for You,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary,
beholding Your power and glory.
Because Your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise You.
