When I am weary and forsaken, I look to You, God of my heart, because You are my strength. You will never leave me. Teach me to abide in Your Holy Word so that the constant pull of my flesh toward iniquity bows under the authority of Your Spirit. Take me to the sweet space where all my anxieties flee because You have drawn me into Your presence. I long to be with You, Lord. Forgive my heart when it wars against You. Forgive my emotions that lift the veil in front of my soul, shielding me from the truth. Help me to see with Your eyes. Enable me to forgive in the power of Your grace. Remind me who I am when I have forgotten. Jesus, I bow before Your righteousness. I rejoice to be covered by Your great Name. Under the Word of Isaiah 41:10 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
