Sweet is the love with which You beckon me to the cross, Jesus. Tender is the touch with which You have healed my wounds. Kneeling before You in the power of prayer, invite me into the worship which will make me one with Your Spirit. There is much that I do not understand, Lord God. There is much that I do not reach for because I am afraid. Jesus, vanquish the fear that holds me back from complete surrender to You. In the midst of my own confusion and doubt, lead me with wisdom that is rooted in faith, built upon trust. Lord, You are everything and You are enough. Close any distance between us as You break down the walls of my heart. Light up the shadows that haunt me with shame. Let me come to You, open and exposed, because You are my safe place. You are my hiding space. In You, Jesus, I find safety for my soul. Under the Word of love in Psalm 32:7 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Psalm 32:7, NIV
