Lord, help me not to fret over the wrong done to me. You are sovereign even over those who wish me harm. Help me not to linger on my festering wounds. You are the Healer who can minister to my every affliction. Let my trust in You blossom in the land where You are leading me. Let my faith always grow in this life between two gardens (the garden that we left and the one You are bringing us back to). Make me Your vessel, filled with the glorious contents of Your Holy Spirit. Let Your righteousness arise within me like the dawn over the sunset of my selfish iniquity. My hope rises and falls with my willingness to submit to Your plan. My love can only be poured out to the degree that it has been supplied by You. Lord, still my reckless heart. Calm my anxious soul. Let me commit my way to You as I wait patiently for Your will to unfold. In all things, I know that You have made me more than a conqueror. Heaven’s glory is Your domain. Eternal love is my gain. Under the Word given in Psalm 37:5-6 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow before You in prayer.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
Psalm 37:5-6, NIV
