My precious Savior, how my heart delights to sit at Your feet. How my soul is nourished beneath the teaching of Your Words. How my Spirit is refreshed when I am fully aware of Your presence. Let all else fade away Lord Jesus until all that remains is perpetual communion with You. Grant me vitality in all spiritual pursuit by protecting me from becoming encumbered with the tasks rather than enthralled with the privilege to work alongside You. Forgive me, Lord, for the ease with which I tire in spiritual exercise. I invite the training, no matter how rigorous, which my soul needs. The strength of the Spirit is so hard to cultivate in one whose flesh is as relentless as my own. Yet, I long to be free of such a binding tether. I long to be filled of Your Spirit and emptied of myself. Teach me, Lord. Train me. Raise up the warrior for Christ You have destined me to be. I delight to sit at Your feet and learn what truth will grow me. Under the mighty Word You have given in Deuteronomy 33:3 and the authority of Christ Jesus, I pray.

Surely it is You who love the people;
