My wonderful, beautiful, holy God, how my heart dances in awe when I ponder the unfathomable work of Your hands. Set my gaze perpetually on the story of grace as it unfolds from the manger to the cross. In the quietness of life within me, let me adore You in secret intimacy. Engulf me with wonder of Your majesty, Lord, so that my lips cannot even utter a song of praise worthy to be heard by You. Let my heart remain bowed in a posture of humility so that I might fixate upon the feet that bore the nails for my iniquity. Only You can lift my face, Lord Jesus, so that I can see into the eyes of love divine. Grant me a godly watchfulness that will guard my thoughts in the purity of holiness. You, my Savior, have done such marvelous things on my behalf. Let there be no excuse for my heart to be devoid of gratitude. I am Yours and You are mine by way of the manger and the cross. What glory divine rises within me to cleanse my soul. Under the mighty Word of Psalm 45:6-7, 11 and the authority of Christ I pray.
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.
Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;
honor Him, for He is your lord.
