My all-satisfying King, to You my heart strings are pleasantly stroked with fingers of faith. You have delighted to let my soul see and hear. You have granted me the sweetest touch by drawing me to Yourself. What grace is this that the caress of my worship can be felt by You! What mercy that my King would brush away the cobwebs of the instrument of my dormant heart! Lord, all that You have said is true. All that You have done has brought me to this place. Yet, I know that where I am is not even near the place You have destined for me. Strengthen me for the journey, Lord. Guide me along Your path with peace in my soul even when the world around me is tempestuous chaos. Lord Jesus, Your beauty far outshines any imaginable majesty. Your presence is my soul’s treasure. Under the mighty Word of John 14:27 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27, NIV
