My Lord, I echo the earnest plea of the disciples: ‘Increase my faith!’ Take the kernel of belief and make it grow beneath the daily rain of Your Word until it becomes a mighty tree, glorifying the Kingdom of God. Move me swiftly along the path of Your will with a strong wind of divine love blowing at my back. Fit my feet securely with the gospel of peace so that I am not easily prone to stumble into pits of despair. Though I am afraid at times, let the shield of Your grace comfort me. Though I am tempted and tried, let Your light guide me to the means of escape. Turn me toward You, Lord God, as You turn me away from the enticements of worldly pleasure. All that satisfies me is found in You, Jesus. Everything my soul needs is from Your hand, God. Filter each blessing according to Your purpose. Enable me to recognize all that You have provided so that my soul rejoices and my heart rests in the assurance of Your promises. I set my hope firmly on Christ. I surrender my being to God, my King, so that my faith is abiding, growing and magnifying the One who is worthy of all praise. Lord, increase my faith so that I am one with You. Under the beautiful majesty of Your Word in Luke 17:5 & 2 Corinthians 1:20 along with the authority of Christ Jesus, I bow my heart in adoring prayer.
