Beautiful is Your reflection of heaven’s glory, O God my King. Wonderful is the grace You have chosen to bestow on me. My soul longs to be faultless before Your throne. My heart desires to be consumed with the joy of assurance You offer me. Lord Jesus, perfume me with the affection of Your incorruptible love so that I might be the fragrance of Christ to all You place on my path. Draw me by the power of Your Holy Spirit into the sacred space of adoring worship that is worthy of the One my soul loves. For only Your presence lifts me higher than the base concerns of humanity. Only the shade of Your mercy protects me from being scorched by rays of selfish desires. Let my confidence be secure in You, Jesus, because it is You who is my strength and my shield. May every word that drips from my mouth in conversation be redolent of heaven because that is where Your servant belongs. Make me Your ambassador, Lord, until I have finished the course of faith. Under the Word of Ephesians 2:8-10 and the authority of Christ, I pray.
