Great and merciful God Almighty, how gently Your Word falls upon my ears each morning. What a privilege to bask in the assurance that I am a child of God. Let my heart dwell on the riches of the inheritance of grace offered me. Let my soul be sanctified through the continuous molding of Your hand, Lord Jesus. Your touch refines me. Your caress of truth purifies me. Teach me to wield the sword of the Spirit until I become the valiant child worthy of Your Name. Make my heart strong enough to withstand the onslaught of the devil’s temptations. To You, alone, may my life bring glory. For I would not boast in any accomplishment in this life. My truest treasure remains in the grace of having my name written by Your hand in the book of life. Under the Word of truth given in Luke 10:19-20 and the authority of Christ, my Savior and Lord, I pray from a humble heart.
